Ava preferred the treats over tricks.

Halloween was a blast! We had so much taking Ava around trick or treating and she could not believe that people just give you candy for knocking on the door! Everytime someone gave her some candy she would look in her basket and just smile. David and I agreed that she could eat as much candy as she wanted on Halloween, but after that the candy had to go away. She was literally bouncing up and down in the car. David was a good sport wearing his tights, he did show some concern when I brought home flesh colored tights for his costume. He said, "doesn't Peter Pan have green tights?" I said, "Honey you try and find green tights for men. It ain't that easy." Ava loved her costume too. She kept her wings on all night. She did get a little nervous at some doors and I had to give the candy to her, but then she would put then candy in her basket and stick her hand out for more from the people. Most of the time they gave her another piece. She then would sign thank you and we would move on to another house.
