David and I decided that we would save a tree this year and every year. David's mom gave us one of her Christmas trees. Thanks Barbs! We decorated it with the ornaments we had, went out and bought a tree stand, which David stuffed with rocks to keep it from falling over, and bought a star for the top. We thought it would be a fun tradition to let Ava put the star on top. It was so cute. She was really excited and had to hold it before she out it on. She needed a little lift from Dad, but managed to get it on. I thought this was a cute picture.
