So for like the last few weeks I have been thinking about cutting Ava some bangs. The other night, as David was walking out to the gym, I told him, "I am going to cut Ava some bangs." Every time I have said this he has told me "no way." But this time, he said okay. I must admit that I was a little shocked. As he walked out the door, I got the scissors, a towel and put in her movie. I just pulled down a little hair and started cutting. After the first cut I thought, "Oh s#*!." I knew it was a mistake, as I tried to get them even, they kept getting shorter and shorter until all I could hear in my head was Billy Idol singing that song China Doll. I eventually had to call it defeat and give up. As I looked at little Noodle with her really short bangs, I said, "your still beautiful you know that right?" She nodded her little head.
The next day I went to a Salon in Cedar to see if there was anything miracle they could work. Ava sat in the chair and let him trim them up and try to make them a little more even, then he said, "Well-you just let them grow. I can't take off anymore length they are already really short." I thought "shut up." So Noodle has bangs-really short bangs: But she still looks like a doll- a little China Doll.
So, are we going to keep Ava with bangs, or let them grow? How about if we get you one of those dolls that you can cut their hair when you get a wild urge to do some styling?
