Ava starts back to Preschool tomorrow. Here are some recent pictures of her from Welcome Back Night. This will be her second year and I am so thankful that she loves school.

This will be her desk for the next year. She is sitting next to one of her BF
Hartney. Good and Bad. I hope they pay attention.

This lovely lady is her teacher, Mrs. Kelly. We love her. She has been the best preschool teacher and has been really good with Ava. Mrs. Kelly gave Ava a homework book and all night she has been working on it.

Ava gave David the tour of her school since he had never been there. This year she will be going three days for a few hours and then she has play groups after. It has been such an amazing journey watching her grow up. The chubby fingers that used to clumsily grasp at things are now writing letters and numbers, those chubby cheeks I used to love kissing are now are marked with play make-up and the little legs that used to march while we held her hands, take her to school, pedal her bike and run. Sometimes, especially when she is sleeping, I get small glimpses of the the baby girl that melted my heart with her laugh, smile and even cry... and she always will.
She's such a cutie. It's incredible to be part of the transformation from infant to independent, isn't it? Some how it sneaks up on us - I also love watching the journey. Have fun in school, Ava!
