Baby makes four

Most of you know, but in case you don't, David and I are adding another little addition to the family. I have hit the 12 weeks mark, but it feels like it should be much more. I found this picture of what the baby looks like at 3 months. They still kinda look like little aliens but more like a baby, then the last few weeks. I have been feeling good with small bouts of sickness every once in a while and we have tried to start preparing Ava for the new arrival by telling her that there is a baby in mommy's tummy. She thinks that it means that there is a baby in her tummy too. She has been so sweet talking to my tummy and telling the baby hi. We know that she is going to be a great big sister, if she can manage the hitting, kicking and now licking. Anyway... David and I have picked our five top boy names- be sure to vote on your favorite!

  1. Congrats little momma..looks like tate is winning. I wonder why no one is voting for cyrus? That would intrigue me to name him that!...Good Luck

  2. Hey Aimee! Congratulations! I just thought I'd say hi since I stalk your blog every once in awhile. :)You have a beautiful family. You really do. And I love the name Tate. Very cute. Or Caleb. What are your top girl names? I think girl names are harder. Have you heard of the book, "The baby name wizard"? That is the BEST baby name book. I love it & look at it all the time (just for fun...no baby #3 yet).

  4. Wow Aimee, we were just wondering not too long ago if you were going to go for # 2... and you probably were already prego when we had this discussion. Congrats!

  5. I was a bit concerned when I saw that Tate was winning in the polls. It's not that Tate is not a great name, or that I have any personal problem with the name. The problem is much more practical than merely not liking the name, because in fact I do like the name. The problem is that over half of this little tiger's extended family are from Utah. This is a big problem, because people from Utah can't annunciate the letter "T" unless it starts a word. For example, ask someone from Utah to say "mountain" or "Layton." You'll notice that the "T" gets lost. I fear that the name "Tate" may have the same problem.
Being from Utah myself, I would hate to have a nephew whose name I, and most the family, could not properly pronounce.

  6. by the by: that last comment was from Josh not Natalie. If any feelings are hurt because of my analysis on the name "Tate", I want them give credit, or discredit in this case, to where credit is due.

    love, josh

  8. We could only vote 1 time, but that doesn't properly reflect the whole family, so here's the breakdown. Dane and Garrett voted for Noah, Josh liked Caleb, and Ty-man voted for Cyrus. And I'm undecided!!! I like them all!
