We had a really fun vacation. It was nice to get away from the hustle and bustle of Cedar City and just spend time with family. Ava and I took off to Palm Springs with some of my family while David stayed behind and worked. We had so much fun laying out, swimming, eating, and getting swimming lessons from Uncle Jordan. The house that we got to stay in was just amazing. It was hard to leave, especially once I started to get some sun. I didn't realize how white I was until I saw the other sunbathers (Rebekah). 
We also went to the horse races at Del-Mar. It was the first time that any of us had been there. Ava was excited to see the horses, except for this one, where she cried and shook her head no. After learning the science of betting on the horses, I placed my first bet and won! 12 bucks! It was sweet. David and I ended up walking out of there about even. 
We also celebrated out third year anniversary. We went to dinner where we had our reception and finally got to sleep without Ava kicking us all night. We had a lot of fun and I actually remembered to bring the camera. Thanks to everyone for helping us have the best vacation. It was hard to leave, but that just means we get to come back again!
Congrats on 3 years. I was looking at your pics and even though it was dark in the background, I thought that restaurant looked familiar. Rekindling the romance, Nice. Looking forward to see you guys in October.
