It has been rather nice here, weather wise. The kids have been able to go outside and I even sat on the porch in my lazy rocking chair holding my newest and watching my son trample through weeds and brush. It was the kind if moment that I really envisioned when we were building our house. Other moments include the kids in a blow up pool on the front yard grass, running through the sprinklers and watering our garden. All of these events have one thing in common: warm weather. I thought in my heart and mind, maybe this is it. Maybe this winter is done and my much hoped for moments can begin. Then I heard a very mean joke- its supposed to snow again this weekend. I hate celebrating my birthday surrounded by white. I would much rather it include a deep ocean blue and golden sand, draped by sunshine. At this point I would settle for the small confines of a tanning bed. I cant wait for summer. Can I get a amen?
