No!! Not me... yet. My chairs. When David and I built our house we bought a new table with these chairs and they had brown cushions. Brown. Not bad, but not great. Well with three kids, the brown got pretty ugly and I have been wanting to give them a little somethin somethin for months. When my mom was last visiting, ( I don't know why my crafty bug always hits when she comes to town) we found this fabric at Joanne's and the best part is, hold your breath, here it comes, it was 50% off. Yes you read right, 5 0. I had to have it. And so I did. I felt like thrifty decor chick!0
One of the perks about having a carpet layer husband is he comes with tools. Like a handy staple gun and is magical. David and I set to the tune of recovering the chairs last night while we watched Kitchen Nightmares and Ava whined about not watching icarly. (I swear her web show inst even funny). We got them all done plus the chair with the missing seat in the hallway and can I tell you how much I love them. The fabric totally puts new life into them.
I still have fabric left to make some nifty napkins to go with my chairs. super! Now I need to sand down my table and re-stain it from when Ava spilled fingernail polish remover on it. I'm trying to block that day out of my memory, but its oh-so fresh.

Aimee, I love it! I LOVE the fabric. I have been wanting to give a lot of our furniture a "facelift" too, but I haven't done much. I miss you. I'm glad you are blogging again. I'm trying to catch up on mine. We'll see.
